France 24 journalists regularly invite their
viewers and web users to go behind the scenes
of the news, through modules broadcast on so-
cial networks that tell the story of how an item is
f ilmed. These formats, which are especially po-
pular, are set to grow. They are complemented
by a wide range of features and magazine pro-
grammes that provide a daily insight into the
news.
France 24’s diversity supports international
know-how and expertise
France 24’s French, English and Arabic newsrooms in
Paris, as well as its Spanish newsroom in Bogotá, employ
540 journalists of over 40 nationalities. They are supported
by 200 correspondent networks covering almost every
country in the world. France 24’s four studios are mutually
enhanced by the content, expertise and diversity of the
teams that run them. France 24’s international expertise,
reinforced by its multilingual and multicultural character,
makes it a benchmark news channel that is respected and
appreciated by its viewers.
In 2023, France Médias Monde obtained the
Journalism Trust Initiative (JTI) certif ication
awarded by Reporters Without Borders, for
all its media outlets — France 24, RFI, Monte
Carlo Doualiya, EntR and Infomigrants. This
certif ication values free and independent
global news based on indicators that assess
reliability of journalism and respect for ethical
and deontological news standards.
